This policy explains what data Knowledge Booster processes, why, and your rights, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people in the European Union, the GDPR.
Controller
Mario Tetty, Avenue Reller 32, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland, hello@knowledge-booster.com.
Data we process
- Without an account: your progress, settings and badges stay in your browser (local storage). They are not sent to our servers.
- Account and subscription: your email address, your subscription (plan, status, renewal date) and the customer and subscription IDs assigned by Stripe.
- Payment: entered directly with Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
- Newsletter: only if you tick the box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Technical: connection data needed to run and secure the service (such as your IP address), processed by our host.
Purposes
To provide the app, manage your account and subscription, send sign-in links and subscription emails, and, if you agreed, the newsletter.
Service providers and transfers abroad
- Cloudflare (hosting, database), USA and global network.
- Stripe (payments), Ireland and USA.
- Resend (email), USA, sending from Ireland: sending sign-in links.
These providers may process data outside Switzerland. We rely on the safeguards the law provides (such as standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep data
For as long as your account exists, then 1 month after it is deleted. Billing records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive your data, and object to the newsletter, by writing to hello@knowledge-booster.com. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
